Making the Call was established in August 2020 with the single objective of increasing the number of women working in sports media in Australia. The key driver for its conception was our deep understanding of the barriers unique to women in sports media. Founders, Emma Race and Lucy Race, are leaders in the intersection of sports media and gender equity.

MAKING THE CALL

Making The Call acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the traditional owners of the lands and waters on which we live and work, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present.  We value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and knowledge.
